Oh my goodness – I loved this! I felt like we were chatting over coffee about your concussion results. So glad for the good news – I bet you’re SO ready to get back to work!! And I don’t know how I’d do the whole dark room thing! Eeeeek!!!!!! Ok – you go to bed and praying you’ll be able to make it to the game!

I had a lot of fun doing it! And thanks for the prayers, I was able to make the game! I did get to go to work for a few days this week but the darn computer caused me to relapse so back to my dark, quiet room… ;o)

This was the perfect way to let us all know how you are doing without typing and staring at the computer! I hope though that right after that you lied down in the dark and haven’t moved since! I am crossing my fingers you make you event this Sunday! Looking forward to finding out! I love reading your About Me page and GOOD for YOU!!! Very impressive and inspiring. You rock and I am very much looking forward to your being cleared 100% of this darn concussion!!

Thank you! I did get to go to the hockey game. I did end up relapsing due to staring at the computer for work so I am trying to catch up on comments! Sorry for the delay in the update!

Oh wow, I can’t imagine not being allowed to do anything; I’m so sorry! Sending you vibes that you get to go to the game Sunday (I found you via the blog hop, btw, and yes, I posted a vlog myself today which obviously you should not be looking at right now!).
One of my vets had a concussion several months ago — pretty severe — she was back at work fairly quickly but still feels residual effects. So I hope that taking the time to heal will save you from that.
Our stories seem so similar — losing weight, then wanting an extra challenge and taking up running. I just got there several decades after you, is all!

When I read your blog and I thought the same thing, how similar our stories were! I have tried several times to go back to work but so far none have stuck. I have found out now I would be out of work until the end of April.

Hi Missy! Loved your video. I can’t imagine how scary all of this has been for you. I hope you are feeling better and get the rest you need this week so you can go to the game over the weekend!!
