Oh, how I have missed blogging and my readers! But I’m back! Life has been so busy this summer that something had to give. Sadly, blogging was it.
Life is finally getting back to normal! The last month was ridiculously nuts with Ragnar Great River (post to come), our wedding (post to come), studying & testing for a certification for work and a few other things. It was a whirlwind but a lot of fun. However, I am really happy it is all over.
Ragnar Great River was so awesome! I had the most amazing team! There were some ups, there were some downs, and all the emotions in between! I will be running Ragnar again, I just have to figure out where…
I don’t even know where to start with our wedding but I can say it was amazing! It was a busy few days that went way better than anticipated. I am now married to my best friend. I have been with Justin over 11 years so calling him my husband has been an adjustment and a little weird.
And finally, the certification for work. I started studying in July and took my first test a week before the wedding. Sadly, I didn’t pass the first test. So I studied more and took the test again this week. Sadly, I didn’t pass my second test and you can only take the test twice before having to reapplying. I know I pushed myself too soon after my traumatic brain injury. My brain was just not ready to absorb all the lists, tasks, and techniques that I had to commit to memory for the test. I did learn a lot and I am proud that I didn’t let myself get upset because I didn’t pass. I may retake the test but my brain needs a little more time.
I am happy to get back some normalcy. I thrive when I on a schedule, I am a lot like a little kid! I am looking forward to focusing more time on myself and my husband (so weird!) & Baylee. With that said, I am also looking forward to focusing some time on my blog, the writing is my therapy. So, I’m back and don’t plan on being gone this long again!
