I have been reading many bloggers The Ultimate Coffee Date the first Saturday of every month for almost a year now. Today, I decided it was finally time to join in the fun. So today I am linking up with Coco of Running with Perseverance, Deborah of Confessions of a Mother Runner, and Linda of Fitness Mom Wine Country for The Ultimate Coffee Date.
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you that I now love coffee. I just started drinking it recently and now I love it! I look forward to each day. That probably isn’t a good thing but I sure do like it!
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you that my mom is here and we are having a great time! We are working on wedding stuff. We have went to our venue to walk the space and plan how it will be set up, we will be getting the items needed to finish up the center pieces, and finally we are going to spend some time celebrating her since it is mothers day tomorrow.
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you that I am so happy because my traumatic brain injury follow up appointment I had on Thursday went very well. My doctor told me that she has heard from my speech, occupational, and physical therapists that I am a star patient and because of that I am progressing well. She expects (but of course cannot guarantee) a full recovery! It may take up to two years but hey, I will take it!

If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you that my return to work is going well! I was very worry about going back to work because I had tried twice before but I was getting terrible headaches. This time around, I am very slowly getting back to work but it is working. I was supposed to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for four hours the first two weeks. But the very first week went so well, I was able to change the plan and go back this past week for 16 hours! Next week, I will be working 2o hours. I am very excited to get back to a normal schedule!
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you that I am back to running! And I am loving it! I had a hard time the first day because I had avoiding the route I took the day I fell. However, I decided to leave the piece of sidewalk that I fell on a piece of my mind. I have been getting out for my run before work and I so love running in the morning!
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you I am finally starting to feel like everything is getting back to the way it was before my fall. I am back to work part time but at least I am working, I am hoping to start boxing again this week, I have started doing yoga, and I am blogging again! This week I graduated from speech therapy and next week I will hopefully graduate from physical therapy. Everything takes twice as long as it used to (and I mean everything) and I have to approach many thing differently because my brain just don’t work the same but I am feeling like I can get back (hopefully better) to the person I was before the fall!
If you joined my for my first ultimate coffee date this morning, what would you tell me?
