There is something about “racing” that gets me all worked up. I love running but racing is so much better. And what I love even more is that I know I will probably never win a race but I love it anyway!
I decided to take the plunge and do the TC Summit Challenge through Twin Cities in Motion. I will be running Valentine’s Day TC 5K (February 14th), Hot Dash (5K,March 7th), Red, White, & Boom (Half, July 4th), and TC 10 Mile (October 4th).
And one of my favorite races, Women Run the Cities on September 27th, in Minnehaha Park, Minneapolis. I had a countdown to when registration would open for this one! I also got a free pair of Women Run the Cities socks because I registered early!
Since I created my spreadsheet I have found an amazing app that does the same thing for me,Race Addict. I LOVE THE APP! I still keep my spreadsheet but use the app as well. What I love about it, is that I have all of my races at my figure tips at all times. What I like about it also is that with my spreadsheet I have all the races I am interested in, whereas with the app I just put the races I have registered for. It makes it way less cluttered! Did I mention how much I LOVE this app!
