How is it the first weekend in April already!!! How it is already time for the Ultimate Coffee Date – April Edition. I lost track of time because I missed last months Ultimate Coffee Date due to packing for our upcoming move. Grab your drink of choice we have a lot of catching up to do!!!
If we were having coffee… I would ask you how you have been and what’s new!
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that we close on your new home in 6 days!! It’s almost here!!! There is so much packing that needs to happen for the big move. However, we are lucky because the new owner of our current house doesn’t take ownership until April 14th. So, I have some extra time to pack!!!
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that I cannot wait to see how Baylee loves her new yard! She is one of the major reasons we purchased a new home. We wanted her to have a big yard to play in and now she will have one!! The only downfall to the new home is that it doesn’t have a fenced yard. Therefore, we have two appointment within hours of taking position of the house with fence companies!
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that I attended the MNBloggerBash 2nd Annual Lowertown Pop Preview last night! It was the first MNBloggerBash event I have been able to attend and it was so much fun! I got so much fun swag that I not had time to go through it all. There were bloggers from all genres. While I didn’t get to meet them all I did meet a lot really amazing bloggers. I am looking forward to their next event!
If we were having coffee… I would tell you I had the most interesting thing happen to me yesterday. On Wednesday when I was writing my blog post Brain Injury Awareness Month I did some Googling and found an amazing post written by Amy Zellmer that summed up all my feelings about my traumatic brain injury. After reading the post I realized Amy was local. I thought to myself I need to reach out to her but realized it was too late so I would do it tomorrow. Tomorrow came and I did reach out but not the way I thought I would. I bumped into Amy at the MNBloggerBash Lowertown Pop Preview by accident. We were both at a booth when we got to talking and I thought she looked familiar. Then I checked her name tag and it was Amy! How crazy is that!
