It’s the first Saturday of the month so that can only mean that it is time for the Ultimate Coffee Date – July Edition! As always thanks to Coco of Running with Perseverance, Deborah of Confessions of a Mother Runner, and Linda of Fitness Mom Wine Country for hosting The Ultimate Coffee Date!
I am going to grab my cold press/cold brew! Grab your cup of coffee, tea, or whatever your fancy is and lets catch up!
If I was having coffee with you… Ask you what your plans are for the 4th of July! I can’t believe we are already this far into the summer!
If I was having coffee with you… I would tell you that I had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy on Thursday. I am feeling really good, much better than I expected. I hope it stays that way! I am so ready to start eating real food but I think that will be a few more days. Until then, I will enjoy my Popsicles and baby food!
If I was having coffee with you… I would tell you that our wedding is just under two months away! I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by! I hired a videographer this week and I am super excited about that. Otherwise for the most part everything is done, there are a few odds and ends that have to be handled but nothing that has me concerned. I cannot wait to celebrate the day and finally marry Justin (we celebrated our 11 year anniversary in May)!
If I was having coffee with you… I would tell you that today is the 5 month anniversary of my traumatic brain injury. It seems like forever ago. Last week I graduated from occupational therapy! I am officially done with therapies related to the injury which is super exciting! I meet with my doctor this week for a check up and I am hoping I will be cleared for everything. I really want to get back on my bike and I can’t do that until they clear me. I am feeling really good! I still have memory issues but I have found ways around that so I can deal with it. Last time I saw my doctor she mentioned that she believes I will make a full recovery so I am hoping she will have a better idea of that this week.
If I was having coffee with you… I would tell you that I applied to be a coach for Girl on the Run Twin Cities! I have my interview this week and I am really excited for it! I think it is an amazing organization and I love what it does for girls. I hope that it all works out!
If we were having coffee what would you tell me?
