Wow! Where did May go? Last month I finally decided to participate in the Ultimate Coffee Date link up and I feel like I just wrote that post! Thanks to Coco of Running with Perseverance, Deborah of Confessions of a Mother Runner, and Linda of Fitness Mom Wine Country for hosting The Ultimate Coffee Date!
Well, if I was having coffee with you… I would apologize for being late to our date! Saturday got away from me and now it is Sunday evening and I am just getting to our coffee date. Yesterday, I was a running buddy at the Girls On The Run Twin Cities 5K. I ran with a sweet little girl who was very shy in the beginning but opened up as we ran the 5K. Also, my mom was here and she stood out on the course and cheered the girls on. It was so amazing to see all the girls there!
If I was having coffee with you… I would tell you that my mom came to visit this weekend to bring the rest of Justin and my centerpieces for our wedding. My mom has been making all of the centerpieces but she is incredibly creative. I wish I could show you how cool they are but that will have to wait until after the wedding. Even thought I wasn’t the one doing them it is nice to have them done, it is one less item I have to worry about.
If I was having coffee with you… I would tell you that I am finally back to work full time! I would have never thought that I would be excited to go back to work, let alone working 45+ hours a week. But I am! To me it means life is finally getting back to normal! I am getting to a point where I can put the a lot of the traumatic brain injury stuff behind me. My life will forever be changed but I am making the most out of it and getting back to my normal every day life is a good start.
If I was having coffee with you… I would tell you that I am getting so excited for Blogfest! I have my hotel room booked and am planning to book my flight in the coming days. I am super excited because I have never been to a blogging conference or outside of LAX. I so know that Blogfest is going to push me outside my comfort zone but as I always say if I am not challenging myself I am not changing! I cannot wait until July 14th!
If I was having coffee with you… I would tell you that I am getting really excited for our wedding in August. I am so over all the planning and a lot of the other junk but I know that when the day gets here it will be amazing! I know that the day will go so quickly so I need to savor every moment. But I also know that it is all really about everyday after that day! I cannot wait to be Justin’s wife!
I sure I could talk forever over coffee! So we better call it a date.
But before I go I would love to know what you would tell me during our coffee date!
