It’s time for our Ultimate Coffee Date – November 2018! I look forward to this weekend every month because I get to catch up with everyone! Thanks to Deborah from Confessions of a Mother Runner and Coco from Running with Perseverance for host our coffee date!

If we were having coffee…
I would tell you that I’m not sure what happened but… I accidentally signed up for another race and booked a plane ticket! Okay, so maybe it wasn’t an accident! But I am excited because I am going to Cleveland to run the A Christmas Story Run 5K-10K! I love the movie so much! The race will be so much fun! I may have to wear bunny pajamas!
If we were having coffee…
I would tell you that four weeks ago, I colored my hair pink! I loved it. We did it as light as we could since I recently started working on a high profile project at work. Due to that, it has already faded back to my normal platinum blonde. I get asked daily if I am going to do it again. I think the answer is yes! However, I probably won’t do it until next spring/summer.

If we were having coffee…
I would tell you that I am doing something I told myself I would NEVER do, give myself an injection. I have Familial Hypercholesterolemia which means my body is unable to remove low-density lipoprotein (LDL, or bad) cholesterol from my blood. Because of that, I have been on oral medication since I was 21 but the side effects were too much for me. So, after trying everything we could I am now giving myself a shot every two weeks. Today was my first shot and it wasn’t bad! I wish that I was one of the people who watching what I eat and exercising helped! If that was the case, I wouldn’t have to give myself a shot!

If we were having coffee…
I would tell you that I love having two dogs! We have had Walter for almost 9 months! Baylee is starting to tolerate him more and more. Honestly, I think she likes him but doesn’t want us to know. The only bad part is sleeping with the two of them! They snore so loud, have terrible gas, and take way more of the bed than they should! However, they are the best cuddlers and than makes all the rest totally worth it!

If we were having coffee…
I would tell you that I recently found out that I was chosen to be a National Coach Ambassador for Girls on the Run! I am super honored and look forward to working with such an amazing organization! If you are ever looking to get involved or want more information about coaching for GOTR let me know! I would love to chat!

Oh my, I talked a lot! What do you want to tell me?
It was so much fun catching up during our Ultimate Coffee Date – November 2018! I look forward to our date next month!
Congrats on becoming a national coach ambassador. I have always wanted to be a coach for that but it hasn’t worked with my schedule. Your dogs are so cute. We are thinking about getting a puppy soon bc our other dog is 11 now.
Your pink hair looks great! Not everyone could pull that off. I actually had some pink streaks (by accident) for a couple weeks this last summer…somehow, an old headband dyed my hair . The area under the headband (around my forehead) and the tips of my hair (that rubbed against it) all turned pink. It was pretty subtle, but I actually liked it 😉 I had to give myself IV antibiotics last summer for a few weeks (via a PICC line) after my emergency surgery. Amazing what we can bring ourselves to do if we HAVE to, right?
This is nice.
