I am a little weird when it comes to weighing in, I like to wear the same thing each week. That way I can’t make excuses as to why I lose or gain. I wear running tights and a tank top (with a sweatshirt over it but take it off for the scale) but that is not very work appropriate. So I had to come up with a new plan since I would be weighing in at a location in downtown Minneapolis.
I decided to rocked my running tights under a chunky long sweater with boots. It worked! I was able to take the sweater off to weigh in and then put it right back on and no one at knew the difference.
I followed the plan and tracked everything this past week. My clothes started to feel loose, in fact one pair of pants are probably needing to be retired because they are getting too big (good problem to have). I would have like to worked out a little more, or more so probably harder. I got in what I could, which on Monday and Tuesday was just walking.
Last week I didn’t weigh in until Friday so I didn’t have a “full” week between when I stepped on the scale. So I wasn’t sure what to expect but I thought it would probably be a loss. And it was. I lost 0.2 pounds, and from how I was feeling in my clothes I would have thought it was more but I am happy with it. I didn’t have time this week to do measurements so I will have to do that next week (but probably not, I will be retaining water from vacation and the two races, so it will be the following week to get a more accurate measurement).
Until next week…
