Now that I say that, I need to explain. Logically, I know that a gain is not a big deal especially after two weeks of very good losses as well as the traveling I have done. I am proud of what I have done this week. However, for some reason I get down on myself if I don’t see a lose even though I know it is okay and that next week is probably going to be a loss again.
My Weight Watcher week’s starts on Wednesday and ends on Tuesday, for this past week the first three days were great, I couldn’t have been more on spot with my food and activity. I had earned 23 activity points in those three days, I was rather impressed with myself. Saturday through Monday I earned 20 more activity points, so that is a total of 43 points. I ran a 5K on Saturday morning, hiked Saturday afternoon, and went for a long walk in the rain on Sunday. I would say that is a good week!
Also, during all of this I have had a nasty cold that could have some impact on what I see on the scale. However, I know that it will be the majority of the reason.
I enjoyed myself and that was the goal of the long weekend. Every now and again, you have to enjoy yourself! And for me, I need to be a bit more relaxed here and there or I ended up just giving up on the healthy lifestyle.
So, what was the result of my weigh in you ask? I had a 0.6 gain. I made sure to get back on track on Tuesday morning and so I am already working on combating it. I am starting my new workout program so that will help too. Now that I wrote the majority of this post yesterday I am even more pleased with myself. It is a small gain but I had so much fun on vacation and it was totally worth it!
Until next week…
